“Honestly this place was great. I saw birds roght out my patio window and looked out to the mountains. It was a great value and the owner and his family were very friendly and welcoming. Take the short hike to the top of the property and enjoy an amazing view. This was such a cool place to stay. The room was extremely comfortable.”

“We loved our stay. Close to Monteverde for lots of outings. It only takes about 15 min to drive. We enjoyed our walks with Bella the Shepard through the coffee fields and listening to Coco the blue and gold macaw call for her back. Ken was great and always available if we needed anything. We would definitely stay here again!”

“This a unique experience. Staff was very helpful and their breakfast which we had one morning was delicious. We even managed to get Italian food delivered (easier with USD cash). The view is unbelievable and we definitely enjoyed as a family with 2 teenagers. Note that like all roads in Costa Rica, always better with a 4WD car. We had a simple 4x4 SUV and we had no issue driving (slowly) the 1.5km or so to get to the property even under set season rain. Again, great experience if you are looking...

“These cabins are a bird watchers paradise. We saw over 40 species from the deck of our rustic little cabin. This location is out of the way. If you are driving yourself you will need 4 wheel drive as the driveway is steep and a bit rocky. Romey will work with you to get you a ride if you need one at a fair price.
